Launch of the Chaire industrielle REVIDA

On october 11, the Chaire industrielle REVIDA about respiratory infectious diseases, led by the researcher Sophie Trouillet-Assant (UCBL/HCL), was officially launched by the Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1, the Hospices Civils de Lyon, and bioMérieux, with the support of the Agence nationale de la recherche. The Inserm chair recruitments opened to Inserm are intended for researchers with strong potential to manage and lead research teams and participate in national, European or international projects. This recruitment, based on research and teaching projects, is aimed at researchers with a doctorate or equivalent and a first post-doctoral experience. The position is offered on a fixed-term contract (CDD) with a view to tenure in the Inserm Research Directors personnel at the end of the contract.

Kick-off of the industrial chair VIRESP

On Wednesday January 24, 2024, Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1 (UCBL), Hospices Civils de Lyon (HCL) (HCL), the French National Research Agency (ANR) and Sanofi officially launched the the VIRESP industrial chair, a research project focusing on the development of techniques and tools for analyzing the risk of infection and the morbidity rate of diseases in different populations, but also to determine the benefits of vaccination programs.
