Lookback on the IRCI Symposium 2025 (Immune Responses in Cancer and Infection)
A successful third edition
The third edition of the IRCI (Immune Responses in Cancer and Infection) symposium took place from June 18 to 20, 2025, at the Charles Mérieux amphitheater at the École Normale Supérieure de Lyon. This symposium, jointly organized by researchers from CIRI and CRCL, aims to enable eminent scientists and clinicians to present their latest findings in the field of cancer immunology and infectious diseases, thereby promoting discussion between leaders in these fields and participants.
With more than 350 participants, a panel of high-quality speakers, and a series of sessions covering a wide variety of topics ranging from fundamental themes (immunometabolism, innate immunity, etc.) to more applied ones (clinical immunotherapy and anti-infectious or anti-cancer vaccination), this edition was another success. A big thank you to the various academic and private sponsors and to the organizers of this event.
For future editions
The next IRCI symposium is scheduled to take place in 2028!
In the meantime, the coordinating team is always looking for volunteers among CIRI and CRCL scientists. Whether you are a junior or senior scientist in immunology or cancerology, you can contribute to future editions, so please do not hesitate to contact them.
The position of director of the IRCI scientific committee is also open to candidates.
