Abstract: In the last decade, computational drug discovery approaches, including machine learning-based algorithms, have been widely used in the drug discovery process. We have developed two different computational methods allowing us to effectively perform virtual screening and design of new chemical structures directly in the binding pockets of molecular targets. I will present the current results as well as discuss future perspectives of using our methods in the discovery of new chemical scaffolds with high therapeutic activities.
