Abstract: Montserrart Cols is the Senior Scientific Editor​ at The Journal of Experimental Medicine (JEM), will review the history of JEM and the process of publishing a paper at JEM. Montserrart Cols will describe the JEM editorial process, which includes the manuscript submission and review process as well as how JEM promotes and circulates published papers. She will also discuss new initiatives that the JEM editorial staff is advancing. Additionally, Montserrart Cols will review her career as a scientist, her journey to the JEM editorial team, her work as a JEM editor, and career opportunities in scientific publishing.
