Dr. François Rousset – Group leader
I did my PhD at Institut Pasteur in the lab of Dr. David Bikard where I developed CRISPR-based technologies for microbial genomics. I then joined the lab of Prof. Rotem Sorek at the Weizmann Institute of Science for my postdoc where I focused on the molecular mechanisms of bacterial defenses against phages. I joined CIRI in 2024 to open the Microbial Molecular Genomics group.
